Nintendo has enlisted actress Penelope Cruz and her fashion model sister Monica Cruz to promote this Sunday’s release of New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS.
The ad starts with Penelope jamming on New Super Mario Bros. 2 while casually sprawled out on a patio chair. When her sister shows up with a new 3DS XL almost as big as her shorts, the two embark on a friendly coop wager where the loser has to don Mario’s bright red plumber digs and go ask for a mushroom from a vegetable vendor.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is all about collecting gold coins and hits stores and the Nintendo eShop tonight at midnight.
