Sony’s webslinger reboot The Amazing Spider-Man will make a big splash at Comic-Con next week when the first trailer and perhaps more are premiered in Hall H. Hopefully the trailer makes its way online shortly thereafter for those that can’t be there (such as myself). In the meantime, we have something else to feast our eyes on.
A new on-set image of Spider-Man in costume came online via Twitter today. It’s not a random cell phone shot or anything low resolution. Quite the opposite, in fact. This image is relatively high resolution and captures tons of detail in Spidey’s costume from the chest up.
If you look closely enough (click the image below to enlarge for the full resolution), you can see the actor’s eyes through the mask. Whether this is Andrew Garfield or a stuntman is irrelevant. It’s by far and away the cleanest look we’ve had at the costume yet.
