Of the Paramount HD-DVD catalog titles announced to-date, only ‘The Manchurian Candidate (2004)’ and ‘We Were Soldiers’ have not been announced for a subsequent Blu-ray Disc release.
Some very early and questionsable information points towards a January 2, 2007 release for ‘We Were Soliders’ and a January 23, 2007 release for ‘The Manchurian Candidate (2004)’ on Blu-ray. Why these stragglers are being held back into 2007 is anyone’s best guess.
As always with unconfirmed by the studio reports, please take this with a grain of salt until something more concrete comes along.
