Mel Gibson’s personal life may be in shambles but that’s not stopping MGM Home Entertainment from rolling out the original Mad Max on Blu-ray Disc for the first time on October 5 to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary.
MGM is packaging Mad Max on Blu-ray as a Blu-ray Disc and DVD combo pack with bonus features split between the two discs in the set. Both the Blu-ray and DVD versions will feature the original Australian track (in 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio on Blu-ray), the first time this track has been made available stateside.
