Oblivion with Tom Cruise Gets Finalized Blu-ray Release Date and DetailsUniversal Studios Home Entertainmant has designated August 6, 2013 as the Oblivion Blu-ray and DVD release date, as confirmed by a press release issued this morning.

Oblivion is directed by Joseph Kosinski and stars Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo. It was released in cinemas this past spring and earned $88 million domestically and a big $274.6 million at the worldwide box office.

Universal is packaging Oblivion on Blu-ray as a combo pack with DVD, UltraViolet and a digital copy. The feature will be presented in 2.4:1 1080p video and 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features include the following, followed by the Blu-ray cover art:
