Long before Tim Allen donned a fat suit to portray Santa Clause, Arthur’s Dudley Moore and Dexter’s John Lithgow starred in their own version of Santa Clause: The Movie where a runaway elf with his own agenda is conned into causing problems for the big guy up north.
To celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary this year, Lionsgate is bringing Santa Clause: The Movie to Blu-ray for the first time under a ‘Christmas Classics’ banner. The release will include deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, audio commentary and theatrical trailers.
Retail pricing for Santa Clause: The Movie on Blu-ray is set at $19.99 which should put pre-order pricing under $15 when it becomes available.
