The freshman family drama ‘No Ordinary Family’ and comedy ‘Better With You’ have been picked up for full season orders by ABC. With the pick-up, each show will see their initial episode order increased from 13 to a full season’s order of 22.
‘No Ordinary Family’ starring Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz has enjoyed 9.5 million viewers per week while ‘Better With You’ and its leads Joanna Garcia, Jake Lacy, Jennifer Finnigan and Josh Cooke have been pulling in 7.3 million. The additional episodes will allow the shows to run into May.
ABC is still undecided on the fate of their new drama,The Whole Truth. Its 5.3 million viewers and 1.5 rating for adults 18-49 per week puts it on the bubble and ABC might make the cancelation call as early as Thursday after the next episode airs this Wednesday evening.
