The guys are BloodyDisgusting.com have stumbled into a new trailer for Warner’s Trick ‘r Treat that confirms a direct-to-video Blu-ray Disc and DVD release in October under the Warner Premiere banner.
Trick ‘r Treat was completed roughly three years ago and was originally scheduled for a theatrical release in 2007. Since then its fate has been a complete mystery without a distribution deal despite a couple of its stars, Anna Paquin and Tahmoh Penikett, finding success on the small screen.
Per IMDB, the film follows five interwoven stories: A couple finds what happens when they blow a Jack-o-Lantern out before midnight, a high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer, a college virgin might have met the right guy for her, a group of mean teens play a prank that they take too far, and a hermit is visited by a special trick-or-treater with a few bones to pick.
Look for Warner’s official announcement with specs, cover art and all the treats sometime this summer.
