It was believed (re: rumored) that Paramount and Marvel’s Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray Disc would contain the Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger Comic-Con footage within its S.H.I.E.L.D. vault feature. The first review for Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray from SHH does not mention this footage so it is either not included or cleverly hidden as an Easter Egg. It does, however, confirm there will be some never-before-seen Thor Footage on the disc.
The footage and some other Thor goodies tied into the post-credits Iron Man 2 screen appear – appropriately – after the credits of the ‘Ultimate Iron Man: The Making of Iron Man 2’ documentary bonus feature. Now that the word is out, everyone will be fast-forwarding through the doc and straight to the new Thor stuff first. I know I will.
I hope to have Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray either today or tomorrow and will turn around a quick review for you all. Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray and DVD arrives in stores on September 28.
