A new majestic Asgard image from Marvel’s upcoming Thor movie appeared in the Los Angeles Times and has made its way online.
The image features Thor (Chris Hemsworth) kneeling before his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) with, from left to right, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Frigga (Rene Russo), Hogun (Tadanobu Asano) and Fandral (Josh Dallas) looking on. This is the first look at Frigga, Hogun and Frandal, as well as the first appearance of Thor and Loki’s respective helmet which should help ease the fears of Marvel faithful complaining previous shots were helmet-less.
Thor director Kenneth Branagh is expected to unveil the first footage and possibly trailer for the film at Comic-Con later this week. we also expect the first official Thor one-sheet movie poster to debut the same time.
