Disney has released a second featurette to help promote the upcoming theatrical release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
This new featurette is called ‘Disneyland to the Big Screen’ and does just that: traces the Pirates franchise from its early days as a conceptual Disneyland ride to the new On Stranger Tides film. There’s some new footage that hasn’t appeared in any of the previously released trailers as well as some fun narration by Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides starring Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane and Penelope Cruz sets sail in 3D, IMAX, 3D IMAX and 2D on May 20.
