Severed heads and bodies cut in half are commonplace in Lollipop Chainsaw, the upcoming zombie slasher from Warner Bros. Entertainment and Kadokawa Games.
This new Lollipop Chainsaw trailer spills copious amounts of blood in celebration of Halloween. Bodies are cut in half, heads tossed into basketball hoops. Heads popping out of places you have to see to believe. It’s the video game version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer playing to the beat of Robert Rodriguez’ Machete.
Making his brief debut in the trailer is Morikawa, a second-generation zombie hunter who serves as the main character Juliet’s mentor. It looks like he’ll be strictly a cut-scene character, but it’s too hard to tell based on the little information available at this time.
Lollipop Chainsaw is coming to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in 2012.
