A new Dead Rising 3 Xbox One trailer lumbered onto the Internet today via IGN and declares war against the zombie apocalypse as Gamescom prepares to kick off in Cologne, Germany.
The Dead Rising 3 trailer is a CGI video from Blur Studios that introduces the game’s protagonist by nearly killing him, then introduces his savoir, new friend and potential love interest? who packs a machine gun and knows how to use it. It doesn’t take long for ammunition to run out when zombies number in the hundreds, and a circular saw-on-a-stick weapon will only get you so far, especially after throwing it into the chest of an unusually large zombie foe.
The mechanic protagonist’s repair shop provides temporarily shelter from the zombies and the tools needed to craft a getaway vehicle. And what a vehicle it is, hopefully indicative of the types of rides that can be custom built in the game.
Dead Rising 3 is an Xbox One exclusive launch title that will be released in November alongside Microsoft’s next-gen console.
