Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has formally announced a June 11 Blu-ray and DVD release date for the Netflix series House of Cards: Season 1 after listings for the release appeared on numerous online retail websites several weeks ago.
House of Cards: Season 1 spans 13 episodes which all simultaneously debuted on Netflix earlier this year. The Blu-ray and DVD release offers fans of the show starring Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, Kate Mara & Corey Stoll, and executive produced by David Fincher & Kevin Spacey, an opportunity to own a physical media version of it.
Sony has stated that House of Cards: Season 1 on Blu-ray and DVD will each come in collectible packaging. I am trying to track down what that packaging looks like and will share it once available.
