Warner Bros. Consumer Products is continuing its ramp-up to Toy Fair by releasing a series of new images from the upcoming Thundercats toy line. Within the images is a reference to a Snarf figure, complete with a drawing that matches the animation style of the new show.
If showrunner Michael Jelenic keeps his word, the brightly colored feline “thing” won’t be doing any talking. Snarf’s nagging of Lion-O was a reason for concern with the new show as Jelenic as he didn’t want to annoy people. At the same time, Snarf was the character who had the most requests.
The solution is a more primitive Snarf incapable of talking. He may be capable of other things but we’ll have to wait until the show debuts to find out what.
The images also reveal the 4″ line version of Lion-O, the 8″ classic outfits line with Cheetara, the Thunder Tank which includes Snarf, a PVC figure, limited edition porcelain statue, and the Sword of Omens which every kid will want.
