Update: Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol has been assigned an April 17 release date in two and three-disc Blu-ray configurations by Paramount Home Entertainment. There are numerous bonus features and a new angled look at the cover art, all of which are ready for you to check out below.
Original article (February 16, 2012): Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol< starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Michael Nyqvist, Lea Seydoux and Josh Holloway is one of the most anticipated Blu-ray releases in the upcoming months. While Paramount Home Entertainment has yet to make an official announcement and date the disc, online retailer has begun taking pre-orders and revealed the dizzying Burj Khalifa cover art.
What we do know right now is that Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol will come packaged with the DVD and a digital copy, most likely of the UltraViolet variety. Paramount has given it an SRP of $44.99, but Amazon has discounted it down from the standard 33% off to 51% off at $21.99. That will be a tough price for other retailers to match or beat.
Update: Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol comes to Blu-ray in 1080p video and 7.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.The two-disc set will include the DVD version on disc two and the following bonus features:
