It’s hard to imagine a Blu-ray adopter not owning HBO’s Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks produced The Pacific miniseries on Blu-ray already, much less Band of Brothers, which is the bestselling TV-on-home video for DVD and Blu-ray. New adopters will come in groves on Christmas Day, and Warner Brothers want to give the gift givers an opportunity to spruce up a Blu-ray player gift with a huge gift set that would put a smile on anyone’s face.
On November 8, Warner Home Video will release Band of Brothers and The Pacific Special Edition Gift Set on Blu-ray and DVD. The set will include all the content from the standalone releases along with an all-new documentary. It will be housed in a horizontal case which you can view below.
The new bonus feature is titled ‘He Has Seen War’ and features interviews with veterans of Easy Company and 1st Marine Division, as well as their families, recounting the stories that inspired both miniseries.
Warner has set an SRP of $199.99 for the Blu-ray version of Band of Brothers and The Pacific Special Edition Gift Set. Amazon.com pre-order pricing is not yet available, but should come in around $150 or so.
