Marvel is gearing up to go full steam ahead on promoting The Avengers Blu-ray and DVD release now that The Dark Knight Rises publicity and hype is starting to die down a little. The first step, revealed today, is releasing some spoiler-filled clips from the film to remind everyone why they loved the movie to begin with.
Surprisingly Marvel even went as far as to include the post-credits scene that hints where Phase 2, which gets officially underway with Iron Man 3 next summer, will move toward. Also included is the previously scene from the new Marvel One-Shot short Item 47 that follows young lovers who use a discarded Chitauri rifle to rob a bank.
Obviously you don’t want to watch any of these clips if you by some strange happenstance haven’t seen The Avengers. Giving in to curiosity would ruin several of the best unexpected surprises in the film.
The Avengers makes its Blu-ray and DVD debut on September 25, 2012. Many of you have probably already pre-ordered it based on its steady appearance in the top 10 Blu-ray bestsellers at Amazon.com since becoming available.
