Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced plans to dip deep into their catalog and bring the comedies Ladybugs and Jimmy Hollywood to Blu-ray Disc on July 6.
Ladybugs stars Rodney Dangerfield as a girls soccer coach and Jonathan Brandis as a teenager willing to cross-dress and join the team to get the girl of his dreams. Jimmy Hollywood enlists the talent of Christian Slater and Joe Pesci under the direction of Barry Levinson.
Each film is coming to Blu-ray in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Neither is listed with a single bonus feature in Lionsgate’s announcement which should not come as a surprise to anyone.
Ladybugs and Jimmy Hollywood on Blu-ray carry an SRP of $19.99 each.
