Universal Studios Home Entertainment is planning to release George Clooney’s Leatherheads on Blu-ray Disc, day-and-date with standard DVD. Though an official announcement has not been made, retailer information points towards an August 26 arrival.
The box office was not kind to Leatherheads with worldwide receipts totaling a paltry $40 million, well short of the reported $58 million production budget per BoxOfficeMojo.com.
Leatherheads on Blu-ray will be presented in widescreen 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
Special features will be lead by Blu-ray Exclusive U-Control in the form of a Visual Commentary with director George Clooney and producer Grant Heslov. Additional extra features shared with DVD are below, though additional ones could appear in the official announcement.
