The blood-craved maniacs over at Bloody-Disgusting.com have confirmed Universal’s 1981 horror classic An American Werewolf in London is being planned for a Blu-ray Disc release sometime in 2009.
The news comes straight from the mouth from director John Landis who spoke directly to Bloody-Disgusting.com at HorrorHound Weekend in Pittsburgh.
Landis went on to confirm an all-new documentary, Beware the Moon: Remembering An American Werewolf in London, will be included on the disc. The hour-and-a-half documentary is directed by Paul Davis and revisits the original cast and crew 25 years later for a retrospective on the film that changed many of their lives.
