National Geographic is keeping their Blu-ray catalog flowing well into 2009 by announcing Journey to the Edge of the Universe has a date with Blu-ray Disc on March 31.
This 90-minute feature uses images taken from the Hubble telescope in creating a seamless journey through the universe with the aid of CGI.
No known bonus features are currently planned for this release, and tech specs are unknown at this time. You can safely assume a widescreen 1080p transfer per National Geographic’s past Blu-ray releases.
