Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the 1996 Jean-Claude Van Damme action flick Maximum Risk is slated for an August 12 Blu-ray bow, day-and-date with DVD.
Maximum Risk co-stars Natasha Henstridge as the girlfriend of Van Damme’s deceased twin brother, whose death Van Damme is out to avenge. Sony has labeled it as an “erotic thriller” so we’ll let you fill in the blanks.
Technical specs are still unknown though Sony’s standard widescreen 1080p transfer and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio are expected to be included.
Any potential supplemental features are also unknown, and frankly we don’t expect many, if any, to appear.
Maximum Risk on Blu-ray is expected to carry an SRP of $28.96. Check back regularly for high resolution cover art and pre-order information.
