Jamie Kennedy Up For Transformers 3 Role?

The last thing Transformers faithful want is more humor to find its way into Transformers 3 after the Twins debacle in Revenge of the Fallen. Those sentiments are not stopping Paramount and Michael Bay to seek at least one more actor with a comedic background to fill out a role in the upcoming sequel alongside already cast Ken Jeong.

Funnyman and former Jennifer Love Hewitt flame Jamie Kennedy took to the airwaves in Arizona recently and claimed he may be up for a role in Transformers 3 per a report at TFW2005. “I had an interesting interview with the people behind the new Transformers movie,” stated Kennedy. “And I may have a role in the movie.”

If you recall, and I won’t blame anyone who doesn’t, The Office comedy actor Rainn Wilson had a bit part in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen playing a university professor. Kennedy could be up for a similar blink-and-you’ll-miss-him role.

For now treat this scoop as a rumor until something more substantial comes about. On the bright side, Transformers 3 news should start to flow more regularly with shooting scheduled to begin next month.
