Lionsgate is taking care of Tyler Perry fans on November 23 with the release of not only Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family (The Play) on Blu-ray Disc and DVD, but the Blu-ray debuts of Diary of a Mad Black Woman, The Family That Preys, Madea Goes To Jail, Madea’s Family Reunion and Why Did I Get Married?
Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family (The Play) is a stage production that is currently on a national tour. The Blu-ray release will include cast interviews and a featurette. A movie version is due to hit theaters in April 2011.
SRP pricing for Madea’s Big Happy Family (The Play) is set at $24.98 while the five other Perry catalog films on Blu-ray are $5 cheaper at $19.98. Bonus features for those catalog films are outlined below.
