If you’ve been following Blu-ray Disc developments across your favorite news websites, you’ve no doubt already read Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is returning to the Blu-ray Disc game with the release of MGM’s ‘Jeepers Creepers 2’ on September 11. In fact, we almost fired off this news ourselves this morning but thought otherwise and dropped Fox a line first. We’re glad we did.
Fox wants you to know that at this time, they have NOT announced any dates for either MGM or Fox titles to be released on Blu-ray Disc, including ‘Jeepers Creepers 2,’ despite whatever information is floating around in cyberspace. Can Fox prove us wrong and “officially” announce “Jeepers Creepers 2′ tomorrow? Absolutely, and we expect it to be re-released on DVD for the Halloween season. But right now, rest assured the title has not yet been announced.
Fox will leap back into high definition, folks. Be patient…
