Amazon.com’s German website has updated a listing for Marvel and Paramount’s Iron Man 2 that includes an October 7, 2010 release date.
The first Iron Man was released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 30, 2008. It shares an early May theatrical release with Iron Man 2 which indicates the early October time frame could be right on the money.
October 7 is a Thursday so a more likely US release date for Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray and DVD is Tuesday, October 5. If Paramount takes the obvious announcement path, we’ll find out for certain around the time of the San Diego Comic-Con in late July.
