Image Entertainment has announced the selection of Sony DADC for the authoring and compression of the company’s continuing output of high-definition Blu-ray Disc titles.
As part of this announcement, Image has revealed a number of music titles expected in stores this spring and summer. Those titles include Chicago / Earth, Wind & Fire: Live at the Greek, Heart: Alive in Seattle, Moody Blues: Lovely to See You Live, Roy Orbison: Black and White Night and Barry Manilow: Live.
All of these titles are already available on HD DVD. This will be their first appearance on Blu-ray.
Other upcoming Blu-ray releases confirmed by Image are Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead on April 15, The Air I Breathe on May 6, Company on May 20, and Short Circuit on May 20.
