Hot Toys has unveiled the third figure in their Captain America: The Winter Soldier 1:6 scale high-end line, and that figure is none other than The Winter Soldier himself. He’s looking good based on the prototype pics seen below and is now available to pre-order at Sideshow Collectibles.
The Hoy Toys Winter Soldier figure is based on the likeness of Sebastian Stan as seen in the film Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The facial likeness of Stan is carried out in not one, but two head sculpts (masked and unmasked) offering multiple posing possibilities. He also includes the character’s signature metal-like left arm with red star emblem.
Accessories packed in with the Hot Toy The Winter Soldier figure include four pairs of palms (relaxed, holding weapons, open, fists), machine gun, remote bomb launcher, submachine gun, spike with sheath, two daggers, two grenades, three pistols, goggles, and a figure stand with nameplate and the movie logo.
The Sideshow Collectibles price for The Winter Soldier is $239.99 plus shipping. You will earn $12 worth of Sideshow Rewards points for a future purchase, and there is no deposit needed; you will be billed when the figure ships in approximately February 2015.
The Winter Soldier is now the third figure to become available to pre-order in the Hot Toys Captain America: The Winter Soldier line. Black Widow is still available to pre-order, however the Golden Age Captain America has already sold out (a waitlist is available and recommended as they often convert if you get on early). There’s no telling how long The Winter Soldier will remain available to pre-order before he sells out.
