Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has followed up their announcement pegging ‘Hostel Part II’ for an October 23 Blu-ray release with news the original ‘Hostel’ will bow the same day as a director’s cut.
‘Hostel (Director’s Cut)’ is jam-packed with extra features both all-new and pulled from the standard DVD release. The new extras include five featurettes, an interview with Eli Roth from Elvis Mitchell’s public radio show “The Treatment,” and the option to view the theatrical or director’s cut ending. The remaining extras are comprised of four audio commentaries, two featurettes, an international TV special, 10 deleted scenes, and four photo galleries.
‘Hostel (Director’s Cut)’ will carry an SRP of $28.95 on Blu-ray Disc. Check back regularly for the addition of high resolution cover art.
