The second season of Showtime’s hit drama Homeland is currently in production in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. We likely won’t get a first glimpse of new footage until sometime next month, but that isn’t stopping Showtime from doling out brief teaser trailers.
The latest such Showtime: Season 2 teaser features Carrie (Claire Danes) and only Carrie, slowly uncovering herself as the words “You Wait… You Lay Low… Then You Come to Life” blast across the screen. The teaser ends with the tagline “Her Obsession Hits Home” with the “e” in home curiously written backwards to resemble a “3.” That might make sense if the third season were kicking off, but this teaser is to promote Season 2.
Showtime will premiere Homeland: Season 2 at 10/9c on September 30, immediately following the Season 7 premiere of Dexter.
