Yesterday’s “Halo 3” in-game engine teaser trailer gave the world its first long-awaited glimpse of Master Chief on the Xbox 360 and possible first glimpse into what the upcoming feature film holds in store. His chiseled armor looks every bit as spectacular moving in high definition as we hoped it would, and the mysterious underground Covenant facility he spies upon is ripe for a suicide run of epic proportions.
Sadly, these five high resolution screenshots from the trailer are probably all we’ll see from Bungie in the foreseeable future. As much as I’d love to be proven wrong, the chances of another glimpse before next year are slim to none.
“Halo 3” is currently on tap for an unspecified month in 2007 release to presumably coincide with the film.
