Halo 4 has a worldwide release date, and that date is Tuesday, November 6.
On that date, Master Chief returns to the Halo franchise for the first time in over four years. Ironically the story is set roughly four years after the events of Halo 3 as Master Chief will face off against a new “ancient evil threat” that will threaten not only Earth, but the universe as a whole.
With Halo 4, Microsoft and developer 343 Industries aim to kick off a new decade of Halo entertainment. Halo 4 is not the last game in the franchise, but rather a new beginning for both Master Chief and Microsoft’s top-selling Xbox 360 and PC exclusive.
A new taste of Halo 4 will debut tonight on CONAN with Conan O’Brien delivering a segment dedicated to the game launch. I suspect it’s something anyone who owns an Xbox 360 will not want to miss.
