Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for the Marvel sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD.
Sony released Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance theatrically on February 17, 2012. Since then, the film starring Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba, Ciaran Hinds and Violante Placido has revved up just over $50 million at the box office.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance isn’t expected to make its home video bow until either May or June. Thanks to Amazon’s pre-order listings, we know that Sony is releasing three separate skus: a Blu-ray 3D combo pack, and Blu-ray 2D combo pack, and a DVD version. Both Blu-ray editions will include an UltraViolet digital copy.
