One of the most anticipated features in Gears of War 3 is Horde 2.0 mode. Everyone who has played it has loved it, and Epic Games and Microsoft want to make sure more get the chance to experience it prior to the game’s launch.
Xbox and Walmart have teamed up to create the Gamecenter Mobile Tour, a traveling semi-truck filled with stations where anxious players can go hands-on with the Gears of War 3 Horde 2.0 ahead of the game’s release. The first stop on the tour is in Dallas, Texas, home of the NBA champion Mavericks, on June 24. Additional cities and dates can be viewed here.
Supporting the Gamecenter Mobile Tour announcement is a new Gears of War 3 Horde 2.0 briefing tutorial video narrated by Anya Stroud, a new female soldier in the game who used to be a COG dispatcher. She’ll walk you through all the new features in Horde 2.0 below.
Gears of War 3 arrives in standard and Epic editions exclusively on Xbox 360 on September 20.
