Tonight Epic Games released a new trailer for Gears of War 3 with music that will make you shed a tear and action that will make you want the game yesterday.
Titled ‘Dust to Dust,’ the roughly minute-long trailer is a continuous scene of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad as they prepare to make their final stand. We’re reminded that this group are brothers to the end, and the end of a trilogy is exactly what Gears of War 3 is designed to be.
Despite all the carnage going on, ‘Dust to Dust’ is designed to touch your emotions as Mazzy Star’s ‘Into Dust’ plays softly on top. This is the last hurrah for Delta Squad, for better or worse. They may all survive. They may all die. Whatever happens they’ll do it together.
Gears of War 3 will be in stores exclusively on Xbox 360 on September 30.
