Miramax and Buena Vista Home Entertainment has announced the Martin Scorsese classic Gangs of New York is Blu-ray bound with a July 1 release date.
Gangs of New York is expected to be presented in widescreen 1080p video and include either PCM or Dolby TrueHD lossless audio. Full disc specs are expected at a later date, at which time we’ll pass them along to you.
On the supplementals side, expect some or all of the features from the standard DVD to appear. There is no indication of any Blu-ray exclusive features at this time.
We expect Gangs of New York on Blu-ray to carry an SRP of $29.99. Check back regularly for full disc specs, high resolution cover art, and pre-order information.
