HBO has released a second teaser trailer for the third season of their hit series Game of Thrones Unfortunately like the first it’s devoid of any actual footage from the show, but it has a bit more depth and a heck of a lot more to look at.
The teaser centers around the show’s signature three-eyed crow that has been appearing on an off since the very first episode. This time the crow can be seen flying through a modern city to symbolize the teaser’s premise, “their world returns to ours.” It’s cool and well-made, but I would rather have seen a couple seconds of footage.
Game of Thrones: Season 3 premieres on Sunday, March 31. Pretty soon here we will be talking about the t-minus two months countdown.
Here is the first Game of Thrones: Season 3 teaser trailer in case you missed it and are curious, as well as a behind-the-scenes featurette that offers the closest thing to footage from the upcoming season revealed by HBO to-date. Both were released late last year.
