HBO’s Game of Thrones has been one of the biggest draws at San Diego Comic-Con thus far. The line to get into the panel was monstrous even knowing there was no possibility of footage from Season 3 to debut.
What there was were a lot of new faces joining the cast, many introducing themselves via a video and then quickly noting how excited they are to be joining the enormously popular series. That video is now available online and ready for you to view and enjoy below.
Per the video, joining the Game of Thrones cast in Season 3 are Clive Russell as Brynden “The Blackfish” Tully, Nathalie Emmanuel as Missandei, Mackenzie Crook as Orell, Kerry Ingram as Shireen Baratheon, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jojen Reed, Ellie Kendrick as Meera Reed, Richard Dormer as Beric Dondarrion, Paul Kaye as Thoros of Myr, and Diana Rigg as Olenna “The Queen of Thorns” Tyrell.
Not featured in the video but also announced are Kristofer Hivju as Tormund Giantsbane, Philip McGinley as Anguy, Tara Fitzgerald as Selyse Baratheon, Tobias Menzies as Edmure Tully, and Anton Lesser as Qyburn.
Those names won’t mean much to fans whom haven’t read George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books. Those who have can now start to put a face and voice to the names.
Season 3 of Game of Thrones will premiere March 21, 2013 on HBO.
