G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon M. Chu has tweeted the final character poster from the film, none other than Flint (DJ Cotrona). There’s no signature beret atop Flint’s noggin, but that’s not to say he won’t don it before the film concludes. The poster scene and outfit appears to be from one of the film’s opening sequences where the Joes are ambushed by Cobra in the desert.
Flint joins posters of his love interest Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki); Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson); Duke (Channing Tatum); the ninjas Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee), Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and Jinx (Elodie Yung); Joe Colton (Bruce Willis) and Cobra Commander.
Curiously missing from the G.I. Joe: Retaliation character poster barrage is the Cobra saboteur Firefly (Ray Stevensen). Not only is he is the second signature operative under Cobra Commander next to Storm Shadow, but he’s also played by an actor whose face is recognizable enough to put on the poster.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation is both a reboot and sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and will be in theaters beginning June 29, 2012.
