Paramount Home Entertainment has confirmed what we’ve expected for months by announcing the original Friday the 13th is coming to Blu-ray on February 3.
The reason for this expectation is the new Michael Bay produced remake that comes out on February 13. Paramount should capitalize nicely on the tie-in.
For Blu-ray, Paramount will be issuing the uncut version in a deluxe edition package. What will make the title deluxe is still unknown but we’ll be sure to share the details once we find out.
We do know the deluxe edition DVD, releasing the same day, includes the following extras which “should” appear on Blu-ray.
