After announcing X-Men Origins: Wolverine with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds would be released September 15 on Blu-ray Disc and DVD, Fox Home Entertainment today predictably followed up with the formal press announcement yielding all the specs and goodies you’ve been waiting for.
Look for X-Men Origins: Wolverine on Blu-ray to feature 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio to go along with its 2.35:1 1080p video transfer.
The two-disc set will include a lone digital copy of disc two with everything else packed onto the first disc. Roughly half of the announced bonus features are exclusive to Blu-ray including new BD-Live connectivity to IMDB’s page for the film, though both formats will get to enjoy the alternate endings.
