While the fate of Heroes, FlashForward, V and Caprica remains a mystery, Fox is uncharacteristically standing by its premiere sci-fi drama for another year.
Per EW.com, Fox has picked up a third season of J.J. Abrams’ Fringe despite the show churning out mediocre ratings throughout the first half of season two. In the show’s defense, it airs on a crowded and extremely competitive Thursday evening.
Fringe is currently on hiatus with one of the big bombshell’s dropped at the end of season one returning in a big way just before the break. It returns to wrap up season two on April 1 with hopefully a lot more Leonard Nimoy and more surprises.
