Coming off news the first two Rambo sequels are headed to Blu-ray on May 27, online retailer DVDEmpire.com has added a Blu-ray listing for the fourth film in the (ongoing?) series, Rambo, for the same date.
We had speculated the 2008 Rambo film that netted $41 million at the box office would bow on May 27 as Rambo First Blood: Part II and Rambo III, as any other date would make little marketing sense. With this confirmation, May 27 can now be considered John Rambo day for Blu-ray owners courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
Lionsgate is expected to give Rambo on Blu-ray the red carpet treatment with 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, a 1080p transfer, and a host of special features.
