Warner Home Video has announced the Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson “romantic adventure” Fool’s Gold is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 17. The release will be day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Fool’s Gold is being released three Tuesday’s after Warner’s abandonment of HD DVD, so Blu-ray will be the only high definition version available in disc form.
Technical specs and supplemental features are still unknown at this time but should be available shortly. A safe assumption is widescreen 1080p video and Dolby TrueHD lossless audio, along with identical extras as found on the standard DVD.
Fool’s Gold on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $35.99. Check back regularly for high resolution cover art and pre-order links.
