Another Toy Fair sneak peek has hit the web, this one revealing and confirming a Lantern Corps member as he will appear in The Green Lantern movie.
First up is Tomar-Re from Xudar, seen briefly in The Green Lantern movie trailer and now immortalized in plastic. He’s a bird-like creature who is expected to get some decent screen time alongside Ryan Reynolds as The Green Lantern.
The other character is NautKeLoi, an odd fish-like creature that will obviously have to be created with CGI. Both of these figures, and all the alien figures created within a computer for the film, have been sculpted directed from the digital files provided by Warner Brothers. What you see below is exactly how they’ll appear on film.
These figures are part of the Movie Masters line that totals 12 figures in all priced around $15 a pop. Each will come with a Collect & Connect piece that when combined will form the movie’s primary villain, Parallax. No word on if Parallax will be available separately.
Images from the Mattel showroom at Toy Fair are expected to hit the web starting as early as tomorrow. As no one outside the production has been what on-screen Parallax will look like, I’ll be sure to pass along any photos should they hit the web.
