I have been wondering how Universal would be repackaging the new version of Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series that exclusively includes The Plan on Blu-ray and DVD. We knew it was going to be a big box to house the individually packaged season sets. We didn’t know what artwork Universal would choose in starting with a blank slate.
This morning I have a first look at the new box which is admirably simple. Ron Moore has continually stressed that Battlestar is first and foremost about the characters and this muted collage of personalities faithfully represents that.
The two sides we can see are all colonial so the assumption is that the hidden two sides are Cylon. Or maybe there will be a Cylon box and a Colonial box, but I doubt Universal would torture fans with multiple choices considering the steep price.
