Today from the Tokyo Game Show, Sony lifted the wraps on Factor 5’s ‘Lair,’ an upcoming medieval fighter previously kept under wraps other than a brief trailer with skies full of dragons. We now know gamers will get to control the dragons with PS3’s motion sensitive controllers, as well as control and command ground troops in a massive battle to save a medieval civilization.
Details are still sketchy, but it appears the ground and air battles will commence simultaneously with dragons used primarily as heavy artillery to help turn the tide. Just how large we don’t know, and no mention has been made of multiplayer or online modes. Check out the three high resolution screenshots drawn directly from in-game footage.
‘Lair’ should be available sometime in 2007 and more details are sure to surface in the coming months.
