Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced First Knight, starring Sean Connery, Richard Gere, and Julia Ormond, will be released April 29 on Blu-ray Disc. The release is day-and-date with an all-new standard DVD version.
This is the first new version of First Knight since Sony originally released it during DVDs inaugural year in 1997. The 11 year wait paid off with a quick appearance on Blu-ray.
First Knight on Blu-ray won’t contain any exclusive special features, but Sony has put forth a valiant effort to offer up a nice selection shared by both versions regardless. The full list is as follows.
