We’ve been wondering how Sony would approach the cases that will house Playstation 3 games for some time now. Would they keep the same size and shape of Playstation 2 cases or follow Blu-ray Disc film case design with a smaller, thinner design? Thanks to Sony Online Entertainment, we finally have an answer.
The newly released box art for ‘Untold Legends Dark Kingdom’ confirms our suspicions that Sony has opted for the smaller Blu-ray Disc case design for its upcoming PS3 games. What this image does not tell us is whether the case will have the rounded portion at the like ala BD titles, or take a new square shape sans the rounded top instead.
